About this Opportunity :
A Senior Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing financial operations within an organization. This position involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and assisting with audits. Senior Staff Accountants collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, reconcile accounts, and support the development of budgets and forecasts. They also mentor and guide junior accounting staff, helping them develop their skills and ensuring smooth workflow within the accounting team. Strong attention to detail, advanced knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in accounting software are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare and / or review monthly work papers to support balance sheet accounts.
Assist with year-end audit preparation.
Location :
Evolution Motion Solutions is headquartered in Farmers Branch, TX with additional offices in TX, UT, AL, AZ, MT, OK, MA, MI IN, IL, OH and Canada. This position will be based out of our Auburn Hills facility.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The work is sedentary, requiring extended periods of sitting or standing to perform the work. There may be some infrequent movement from area to area to transport items weighing no more than 15 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT : While performing the primary duties of the job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general office environment. On occasion, the employee may be required to enter the warehouse or industrial customer site environment, where noise, temperature and hazard levels vary. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Work outside normal business hours is required from time to time.
