About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of general ultrasound experience and a background in ultrasound elastography (SWE) and fat quantification. This position requires hands-on experience with ultrasound elastography and proficiency in both 2D and point SWE techniques. The Ultrasound Tech will be responsible for performing research ultrasound scans, adhering to protocols, and contributing to advanced diagnostic imaging.
Qualifications :Licensed or certified experienced sonographer
- Minimum 2 years general ultrasound experience
- Prior experience (at least 5 scans) with ultrasound elastography (2D or point)
- Recent clinical or research ultrasound acquisition experience within the last 2 years
- Completion of sponsor provided protocol training
- Supplemental SWE technique training by subject matter expert
- Completion of 1 protocol compliant volunteer scan (more as needed if initially deficient)
- Preferred :
- Performing ultrasound examinations on patients as requested by physicians
- Preparing patients for the procedure by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
- Positioning patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Operating and adjusting ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images
- Collaborating with physicians to review and interpret the images for diagnosis
Completion of device applications training for SWE and fat quant
2D (rather than point) SWE experience
