We specialize in therapy for anxiety, trauma, depression, and relationships for individuals, couples, families, and teens. To keep our operations running smoothly, we’re looking for a detail-oriented, problem-solving Billing Specialist to join our team part-time.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Reviewing and submitting claims, correcting rejections, and working directly with insurance companies to ensure smooth processing.
- Communicating with clients about benefits coverage, payment plans, and outstanding balances.
- Following up on unpaid claims, resolving denials, and bringing payment trends or issues to leadership.
- Handling patient collections professionally and efficiently.
- Posting charges for services rendered and auditing chart documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Staying up-to-date with billing codes (CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10) and educating staff on updates.
What You Bring to the Table
- 1-3 years of experience in medical billing or accounts receivable (mental health billing preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with electronic medical billing systems and claims processing.
- Strong problem-solving skills – ability to troubleshoot claim denials and payment issues with ease.
- A professional, client-friendly attitude in both face-to-face and online interactions.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with the administrative and clinical teams.
