Overview of Position
The Outreach Manager holds ultimate responsibility for EC marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy in order to drive EC's success in the cannabis industry in and beyond.
The position will require 10% focus community outreach; 30% focus on customer experience internally and externally, to insure customer satisfaction. 60% focus on marketing promotions through CRM, Dutchie, Alpine IQ, app engagement, text messaging, email, specials. Promotion, events, pop ups, vendor coordination, Social Media posting and stories, hyper local messaging with local businesses
Champion the brand strategy and thought-leadership via strategic opportunities and partnerships
- Work closely with product management team to define marketing goals and programs
- Develop the marketing strategy for new and existing products in collaboration with the Product Manager
- Oversee implementation of the communication strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR - for both internal and external audiences
- Engages local businesses, business organizations, and community organizations
- Work closely with dispensary team; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials, and presentations
- Oversee and act as liaison between product management, customer affairs as well as public relations addressing all client issues internally and externally insuring a positive customer experience.
- Demonstrate effective management of marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for EC by collaborating to create, launch, and track performance of new products and campaigns
- Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition, develop consistent content, update website and related web presence such as Weedmap, Leafly and similar
- Manage the use of the company's customer relationship management software, Sprout, and loyalty program
- Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends

Duties and Responsibilities
Establish and articulate marketing project scope, strategy, and objectives to appropriate employees and key leadership
Manage creative production of online and offline marketing assets, graphic design, video production, and web development, from the initial concept to finished product and execution
Assist with sales reports
Manage external vendors and agency partners as needed
Social Media Engagement Instagram and Facebook - Minimum one story per day, One post per week, Minimum of 10 comments per day. And a minimum of 10 Likes on local businesses or industry (separately from where commenting on). Daily Alpine IQ and Dutchie review,

Education
Work Experience Required
Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles including team management
Required Knowledge
Familiarity with CRM software as well as social media platforms
