The Role: This position blends warehouse duties with field installation tasks, ideal for those who thrive in a dynamic, hands-on work environment. You will play a crucial role in both preparing materials and components for installation and actively installing them at job sites. This role demands physical robustness and the ability to switch seamlessly between warehouse and field environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble window units and prepare them for installation.
- Maintain and organize warehouse inventory, tools, and materials.
- Perform routine maintenance on fleet and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Actively participate in the installation of windows, doors, and other related projects onsite.
- Interpret measurements and specifications to ensure accuracy in assembly and installation.
- Maintain clean and organized job sites and work areas.
- Operate a variety of power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Contribute to team efforts by taking initiative and proactive problem-solving.
Requirements:
- Experience in construction, installation, or related fields, with a solid understanding of assembly and measurement tools.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting and operating in various weather conditions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Valid driver’s license required.
