Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer

Evolve/United Healthcare seeks qualified Cardiac Sonography Techs for a 13-week travel assignment with a major hospital system in Lawton, OK. Ideal candidates have at least 2 yrs experience, their BLS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Verification, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) Verification.

8A-5P Mon-Thurs, Fri 8A-12P

Pay: $2703.00 weekly gross, including stipends

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience - Required
• Level 2 Experience - Required
• Recent traveler experience - highly preferred
• 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
• Licensure & Certifications (OK State License or compact & BLS - AHA )

Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to evaluate the structure and function of the heart
- Interpret test results and provide accurate and timely reports to referring physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in echocardiography technology and techniques
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant medical standards, regulations, and protocols

Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic evaluations using echocardiography equipment
- Ability to interpret echocardiogram results accurately and effectively communicate findings to other healthcare professionals
- Familiarity with cardiac catheterization procedures and their role in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions
- Strong understanding of vital signs and their significance in assessing cardiac health
- Experience in using sonography techniques for imaging the heart and surrounding structures
- Proficient in maintaining aseptic technique during procedures to minimize the risk of infection
