- Shifts: 8-hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Providing Emotional Support & Crisis Intervention – because sometimes, patients (and staff) just need someone to talk to.
- Coordinating Discharges & Community Resources – ensuring patients leave with more than just a hospital wristband.
- Navigating Complex Cases – from financial assistance to housing and mental health referrals, you’ll be the go-to resource.
- Working with a Multidisciplinary Team – doctors, nurses, case managers—you're the glue that holds it all together.
- Utilizing Cerner EMR – documenting like a pro, because if it’s not charted, it didn’t happen.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 2 years in an acute care setting.
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association)
- Bonus Points: CCS-paneled candidates preferred (because who doesn’t love a little extra credentialing?).
- Personality: Empathetic, resourceful, and able to handle everything from crisis intervention to "I just need a bus pass" requests.
