Nutrition Consultant

REGISTERED DIETITIAN – Bismarck, ND
(Because someone has to save the world from questionable food choices!)

Are you a Registered Dietitian (RD) with at least two years of experience, a passion for nutrition, and the ability to keep a straight face when someone tells you they’re on a diet of only bacon and butter? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

Location: Bismarck, ND – Where the winters are cold, but our team is warm and welcoming!
Start Date: March 3rd – Mark your calendar and get ready to meal-plan your future.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with a casual 2-3 hour weekend shift every 3rd weekend – don’t worry, no one expects you to work overtime convincing people that vegetables are good for them).
Required Certifications: RD License & BLS (because CPR is always a good skill to have, just in case someone actually tries the bacon-only diet).

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (A.K.A. SPREADING THE GOSPEL OF NUTRITION)

Inpatient & Outpatient Coverage – From acute med/surg patients to dialysis assessments and long-term care contract evaluations (because good nutrition matters at every stage of life).
10-15 Consults Per Day – Talking about carbs, proteins, and why hydration is not just for athletes.
Charting in Epic – Because if it’s not documented, it didn’t happen.
Applying ASPEN Guidelines & Dialysis Knowledge – Yep, you’ll need to know your way around a renal diet.
No Clinical Involvement – Translation: No running around like an ICU nurse. Your focus is pure nutrition (and probably explaining for the 100th time that a multivitamin is not a meal).

WHAT YOU WON’T HAVE TO DEAL WITH

Dietary/Nutrition Aides – We love them, but they only handle meal ordering/printing. You’re here for the big-picture nutrition plans!
Call/Standby – No late-night emergencies about how much fiber is too much fiber.
Floating to Other Units – You stay in your lane—just like we hope your patients do when following their meal plans.

Must be 50 miles away to qualify.
Max 7 days RTO per 13-week contract – So plan those vacations wisely!
