Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures. Review medical record for patient history and pertinent information. Review requisition with the physician. Explain procedure to the patient. Select proper technique/protocol to obtain optimal scans.
- Review studies for overall quality.
- Organize daily work schedule and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Perform daily calibration check on equipment. Alert service to any equipment issues.
- Provide instruction to medical and hospital staff on MRI safety.
Experience:
Requested Skill Set: 2/years' Experienced MRI Tech with ARRT(MR) required
Advanced skills needed: BLS.
TEMP NH MIRT license in effect!!! MUST be in possession of an out of state Imaging license in order to obtain Temp...non-licensed Imaging Tech will have to apply for the PERM NH MIRT license
Certifications Required: ARRT, MRI Certification.
Unit Specifics:
- Sat/Sun 7a-7p 2x8 hr shifts during week (could be fixed shifts, or varied shifts) - 40 hrs/week
- ARRT
- BLS (AHA)
- NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
