Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the necessary skills to provide high-quality medical services.
Duties
- Provide care for patients in the telemetry unit, monitoring vital signs and telemetry readings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform assessments, interventions, and patient care planning
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Assist with discharge planning and patient education
- Handle urgent care situations effectively and efficiently
- Utilize sterile processing techniques when required
- Conduct ostomy care, infectious disease care, pain management, and cardiac catheterization procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in telemetry or related areas such as ICU or urgent care is preferred
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and interpreting telemetry readings
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control practices
- Knowledge of discharge planning processes and patient education strategies
- Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and empathy
- Familiarity with managing patients' pain effectively
