What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Strategist position at Evolve Systems?
The Content Strategist works closely with the Marketing team to build and maintain client relationships through outstanding customer service and deliverable work that helps build their business. They collaborate with the Marketing team to develop strategies and deliver services that align with clients’ website build projects and monthly marketing plans.
We seek an outstanding individual who is current with the latest marketing trends and enjoys the strategy behind successful content development. This is a client-facing role, where you must feel comfortable leading content interviews and presenting ideas to clients and team members. As part of the Marketing team, it is your responsibility to provide clients with a high-value Evolve Systems experience while providing an ROI and ROT (Return on time).
Responsibilities:
- Produce various content types, including website copy, emails, social media posts, blogs, case studies, and print collateral
- Lead or participate in client strategy sessions and create recommendations for Website and Marketing programs
- Optimize content for SEO, lead generation, and conversions
- Stay current on social media and email marketing best practices
- Have an understanding of working with marketing automation systems, creating workflow diagrams, and executing marketing campaigns
- Research and develop creative and technical copy
- Ability to establish or uphold unique brand voices for clients
- Convince others that your creative ideas are worth investing time and effort in
- Review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations
- Adhere to project and deliverable work timelines to set the team up for success
- Analyze content marketing metrics and make changes as needed
- Work closely with program managers and team members providing client updates, project status updates, and identifying potential issues
- Ensure that all processes and procedures are followed, and quality standards are met
- Establish and manage client expectations
- Build relationships with team members to help facilitate a collaborative environment
- Assist in developing and training team members
Requirements:
- 3 years of full-time experience working in a digital agency environment
- Ability to work well in a collaborative hybrid environment
- Skilled at developing content for a diverse range of clients across multiple industries
- Have a moderate understanding of SEO and current content optimization best practices
- A great attention to detail, time management, and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with industry technologies including CMS (WordPress), project management systems, and marketing automation programs
- Experience growing client’s web and online presence through digital marketing
- General Understanding of web metrics and Google Analytics and the ability to generate, analyze, and interpret data
