Hiring firm is an investment manager with families of funds focused on primary commitments to venture funds, LP and direct secondaries, co-investments and direct investments.
The Company is seeking an Accounting Associate on their management company team. The Accounting Associate will report directly to the Management Company Accounting Manager, and also work closely with the Controller, and the CFO.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Perform duties supporting monthly, quarterly, and year end closes such as cash reconciliation, reforecast, and other as needed tasks.
- Review and track fund related expenses and reimbursements performed by outsourced accountants.
- Maintain managing director benefit accounts and generate quarterly statements.
- Work with the Management Company Accounting Manager and other staff to generate the annual and quarterly budgets.
- Generate quarterly and ad hoc financial reports slides for Company meetings.
- Update and maintain GP and LP wire instructions.
- Work with external accountants ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounting entries.
- Assist with the annual insurance renewals for the Company and its underlying funds.
- Proactively identify operational efficiencies and processes.
- Work with Management Company Accounting Manager and other staff to achieve team objectives and support ad hoc projects as necessary.
- Assist with Management Company internal and external audits.
- Assist with processing of Management Company and Fund tax filings and payments.
