The Mobile Service Technician travels to various work locations to provide excellent customer service to our clients by servicing their transporters. This role will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance and repairs on race transporters. This could include generators, liftgates, compressors, air lines, lighting, electrical, HVAC, cabinets & drawers, etc.

What You Can Expect In This Role
The Mobile Service Technician travels to various work locations to provide excellent customer service to our clients by servicing their transporters. This role will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance and repairs on race transporters. This could include generators, liftgates, compressors, air lines, lighting, electrical, HVAC, cabinets & drawers, etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned racetracks/work locations as directed by management. Travel includes being away from home and offsite for multiple days/nights at a time.
- Evaluate all engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to specifications.
- Work with different hand tools, power tools, and machines.
- Install and repair equipment on service jobs.
- Inspect and diagnose malfunctions on all trailer systems.
- Perform regular check-ups and preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including liftgates, generators, air brakes, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean appearance and create a positive experience for the client.
- Complete all other related tasks as assigned by management.
- Maintain a good work attitude and cooperate with managers and fellow teammates in a positive spirit of teamwork.
- Complete any required DOT or internal maintenance reports or documents.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- A wide variety of mechanical knowledge.
- Electrical and HVAC experience.
- Fabrication experience.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Fantastic customer service skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and stoop in trackside settings for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, off ladders and moderate heights.
- High school diploma or GED
- College coursework, technical training or certification sin automotive/diesel service, electrical, HVAC or related experience highly preferred.
