Evolver Federal is looking for an Agile Project Manager to oversee and coordinate multiple projects, leveraging both Agile and Traditional Project Management methodologies. This individual will play a key role in supporting technical resources, developing proof of concepts and prototypes, and enhancing processes through automation and technology. The role requires close collaboration with sub-project teams, ensuring a balance between team autonomy and overall program alignment, and utilizing tools such as MS Project, Jira, and ServiceNow for data-driven tracking and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple sub-project teams, ensuring coordination and alignment with overall program objectives.
- Evaluate and determine the appropriate application of Agile or Traditional Project Management methodologies based on project requirements.
- Implement data-driven tracking and reporting processes, utilizing metrics/KPIs to measure project performance.
- Ensure transparency and consistency in project status reporting for stakeholders and leadership.
- Facilitate collaboration across sub-project teams, particularly those using varying methodologies or tools.
- Develop proof of concepts and prototypes to demonstrate process improvements through automation and technology.
- Manage and integrate project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, and ServiceNow to streamline tracking, planning, and reporting.
- Introduce changes to processes and tools with minimal disruption to high-performing teams.
- Address and resolve issues such as scope creep, delays, and inter-team communication breakdowns to maintain program schedules and goals.
- Foster a culture of adaptability and alignment among teams while respecting individual team dynamics.
- Provide support to technical resources, ensuring they have the necessary tools and processes to succeed.
Basic Qualifications
- 2 years of client facing federal consulting experience
- 2 years business analysis experience to implement data-driven tracking and reporting processes
- 2 years of experience working with cyber security teams
- 2 years of experience in both Agile and Traditional Project Management methodologies
- 2 years of experience working with project management tools, including MS Project, Jira, and ServiceNow.
- Must be a US Citizen with active Secret Clearance
- Must be able to obtain an Agency-specific clearance prior to starting
- Have and maintain at least one active certification: Security or ISC2 CISSP, or other comparable certification
