Primary Impact:
Evolving Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist who will be responsible for executing key HR functions, including talent acquisition, payroll, compliance, benefits administration and onboarding. The HR Generalist will collaborate with and assist the Head of People and Culture with a blend of tactical execution and process optimization, providing opportunities for career growth into HR strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Responsible for full cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate selection and interview coordination
- Collaborate with hiring managers to craft job descriptions and hiring process that works well for their team
- Work cross-functionally with finance and IT teams to execute onboarding processes that enhance new employee experience and retention
- Generate official internal documents such as offer & promotion letters
- Complete background checks and E-Verify
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies and workplace concerns
- Assist Head of People and Culture with investigations and resolving employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Ensure adherence to federal, state and local labor laws and company policies
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR audits
- Update and enforce HR policies and procedures as needed
- Assist in the development, design, documentation, and implementation of company policies and procedures, HR dashboard and other operational practices
Training & Development:
- Assist Head of People and Culture in creating and facilitating trainings and professional development programs
- Monitor and track compliance-related training requirements
Total Rewards & Payroll:
- Payroll processing via ADP
- Benefits management, including invoice reconciliation, COBRA reporting, and open enrollment
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist, HRBP or HR-dept-of-1 role
Preferred:
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP)
- Experience processing payroll, preferably with ADP experience
- Ability to develop strong relationships, influence, and collaborate with employees, leaders and members of the HR team
- High level of confidentiality
- Experience creating new processes or reviewing and improving existing ones
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Effective time management skills

- Hybrid – 3 days in the office

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
