About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at EVONA. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for high availability and performance.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and system maintenance using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to integrate best DevSecOps practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues proactively.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required due to security clearance requirements.
- Active Secret clearance or held one within the last 24 months (eligible for reinstatement).
- 5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and tooling.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in classified environments or government contracts.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and DevSecOps best practices.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Experience with database management and optimization in cloud environments.
