The Role
The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will play a critical role in developing, deploying, and securing cloud-based and containerized environments. You’ll work closely with customers, operational teams, and developers to ensure seamless, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated deployment solutions using CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Manage Kubernetes environments, ensuring seamless deployment, scaling, and security of containerized applications.
- Support AWS-based infrastructure including EC2, S3, and SQS.
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab to optimize software delivery.
- Apply Linux system administration skills (RedHat 7/8) to manage and maintain secure environments.
- Integrate security best practices within DevOps workflows, enhancing compliance and risk management.
- Troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
- Work in classified government environments, collaborating with operational teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to work onsite in Northern Virginia.
- Active Security certification.
- Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Strong background in AWS core services (EC2, S3, SQS).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
- Linux administration skills (RedHat 7/8).
- Ability to operate in high-security environments and support mission-critical government operations.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting production environments in a classified setting.
- Computer Science or related degree.
- Experience with HashiCorp tools (Packer, Terraform).
- Prior experience working with government customers and classified systems.
