The Role

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will play a critical role in developing, deploying, and securing cloud-based and containerized environments. You’ll work closely with customers, operational teams, and developers to ensure seamless, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated deployment solutions using CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Manage Kubernetes environments, ensuring seamless deployment, scaling, and security of containerized applications.
• Support AWS-based infrastructure including EC2, S3, and SQS.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab to optimize software delivery.
• Apply Linux system administration skills (RedHat 7/8) to manage and maintain secure environments.
• Integrate security best practices within DevOps workflows, enhancing compliance and risk management.
• Troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
• Work in classified government environments, collaborating with operational teams to deliver mission-critical solutions.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to work onsite in Northern Virginia.
• Active Security certification.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Strong background in AWS core services (EC2, S3, SQS).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).
• Linux administration skills (RedHat 7/8).
• Ability to operate in high-security environments and support mission-critical government operations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience supporting production environments in a classified setting.
• Computer Science or related degree.
• Experience with HashiCorp tools (Packer, Terraform).
• Prior experience working with government customers and classified systems.
