Embedded Multimedia & Telemetry Software Engineer (On-Site – Huntsville, AL) - $75-120k
Are you a junior software engineer eager to work on embedded multimedia pipelines, telemetry processing, and video streaming in an aerospace and defense environment? We are hiring an Embedded Multimedia & Telemetry Software Engineer to join a fast-paced R&D team developing next-gen aerospace and robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop embedded multimedia pipelines using G-Streamer and FFMPEG.
- Optimize video encoding, decoding, and streaming for NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
- Work on real-time telemetry processing and video transmission over radio links.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on hardware-software integration.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 0-2 years experience (fresh grads and students welcome).
- Strong proficiency in Linux, C , FFMPEG, and G-Streamer.
- Experience working with embedded systems and real-time streaming.
- Bonus: Experience with NVIDIA Jetson, RF communications, AI/ML for video processing.
Additional Information:
- On-site only in Huntsville, AL (no remote work).
- Must be eligible for a security clearance (Top Secret is a plus).
