Are you an experienced engineering professional looking to make a tangible impact within the defense sector? We are seeking a Facilities Solutions Architect to lead the development and execution of technical strategies for critical Government and Commercial defense projects. In this key role, you will drive proposal development, manage technical planning, and oversee operational execution—ensuring mission success in high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Leadership: Develop comprehensive technical responses for government and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with operational goals and mission-critical requirements.
- Proposal Development: Partner with the pricing team to establish accurate Basis of Estimates for all task orders, ensuring solid financial planning and control.
- Operational Support: Coordinate PMO-based support for OCONUS contracts, ensuring efficient, timely, and effective solutions in diverse global environments.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all contract activities adhere to U.S. Government regulations, including the Joint Ethics Regulation (DoD 5500.7-R), company policies, and other local requirements.
- Contract & Subcontract Management: Draft statements of work, manage subcontracting processes, and oversee task order lifecycles, keeping stakeholders informed on upcoming RFPs and proposal strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in working groups, conduct studies and analysis, lead document reviews, and coordinate essential meetings to drive project success.
- Technical Expertise: Apply deep knowledge in Installation Support, Base Operations Support, Air Traffic Management, Prime Power Management, and other key technical service areas.
- Documentation & Quality Assurance: Create clear, high-quality technical documents, adhering to RFP guidelines, style guides, and usability principles.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (Master’s preferred). Equivalent experience or subject matter certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of military engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting OCONUS combatant theaters and CONUS emergency response efforts.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. Government appropriations and defense-related engineering, construction, and service procurement processes.
- Proven experience collaborating with agencies such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seabees, USAID, Navy Facilities Command, or similar.
- Skills:
- Expertise in technical writing and document development for government proposals.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with desktop publishing, word processing, and project management software.
- Effective interpersonal skills with a team-focused approach.
