Flight Dynamics Engineer (Space Situational Awareness)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Flight Dynamics Engineer with expertise in mathematical analysis and software development to support our Space Situational Awareness (SSA) initiatives. This role is integral to enhancing the accuracy and reliability of space safety measures through advanced analysis and innovative software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Develop operational user scenarios and test cases that will be used in product validation and operational acceptance test validation.
- Work with the TraCSS System Integrator to evaluate, test, and onboard third-party SSA data products and services.
- Coordinate with DoD personnel, satellite operators, and other mission stakeholders in support of the SSA mission.
- Willing to work rotating shifts.
Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required.
- Active Secret security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field.
- Experience: Strong background in flight dynamics, mathematical analysis, and software development, with specific expertise in Space Situational Awareness.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in developing and testing mathematically intensive software applications, with experience in state estimation, stochastic processes, error propagation, and collision probability analysis.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to address complex challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring high accuracy and reliability in SSA systems.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on integrating and refining flight dynamics solutions.
