Platform Engineer
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our platform engineering team. While our current infrastructure primarily leverages AWS, our focus is on designing and building infrastructure-agnostic solutions capable of running on cloud platforms or on-premises. This role offers the opportunity to maintain and enhance existing AWS infrastructure while contributing to the development of portable and scalable internal platforms.
Our long-term goal is to create internal developer platforms and self-service tools, but we also play an essential role in supporting development teams with their current DevOps needs. This dual focus allows team members to gain hands-on experience solving immediate challenges while working toward strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Development
- Design and implement infrastructure-agnostic internal developer platforms and self-service tools.
- Develop abstraction layers and interfaces for infrastructure portability.
- Build and maintain reusable infrastructure components and templates.
- Support the development of platform APIs and tools.
- Implement cloud-agnostic observability and monitoring solutions.
- Create standardized deployment patterns and workflows.
- Support and enhance the container orchestration platform.
- Contribute to platform documentation and training materials.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements.
