Production Planner – Aerospace & Manufacturing
We are looking for an experienced Production Planner to join a cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing company specializing in advanced technology solutions for space and airborne applications. With global operations, their team develops high-performance systems that support both commercial and defense markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams to align material availability with production demands.
- Assess lead times, track material requirements, and mitigate risks related to shortages or delays.
- Optimize make-or-buy decisions in collaboration with procurement and supplier management teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and usage trends to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure data accuracy and system integrity within ERP and PLM platforms.
- Work within established processes and procedures to maintain efficiency and compliance.
- Provide real-time data analysis and reporting to support decision-making and enhance production planning.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in a production planning or supply chain role within an engineering or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of MRP, demand planning, and forecasting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and align production needs accordingly.
- Experience working with ERP and PLM systems to maintain data integrity.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities and the capability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP software.
