Job Summary
We are seeking a Chemical Production Associate to join our team at Evonik Industries. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in material transfer, production processing, and other chemical operations within the production process in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate/monitor equipment such as reactors, filters, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, bag houses, spray dryers, compressors, etc.
- Must understand and comply with site ESHQ procedures, cGMP's and SOPs.
- Perform field quality tests and document in SPC program.
- Perform basic maintenance, changeover, set up, cleaning, and troubleshooting of plant process equipment and process work areas.
- Correctly complete and submit work orders for equipment failures which requires maintenance.
- Transfer of finished goods within the Inventory Management System (SAP).
- Safely and properly operate a forklift.
- High School education or General Equivalence Diploma required.
- Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must possess a good attitude and strong work ethic & be dependable with a high degree of integrity.
