The Quality Manager will plan, direct, or coordinate quality assurance programs. Formulate quality control policies and control quality of laboratory and production efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible to develop, coordinate, and lead internal auditing program.
- Responsible to be site lead for external and customer audits (e.g. ISO 9001, Halal, etc.)
- Ensures products are produced with quality and according to ISO 9001 policies and procedures.
- Active participant, alongside EHS Manager in EHS audits (e.g. RC 14001, PSM, etc.)
- Lead investigator for customer complaints. Partners with Production, Supply Chain, and Engineering to investigate customer complaints.
- Responsible to develop, maintain, and improve analytical methods to meet production and customer needs.
- Monitor and review KPIs related to EHSS, production, supply chain, and quality services during management review meeting to allow continuous improvement and resolve non-compliance issues.
- Manages Quality Laboratory to include Quality Technicians. Responsible to ensure Quality Technicians are trained appropriately for the position. Fosters a positive work environment characterized by an atmosphere of mutual respect, trust, accountability, and open communication.
