Looking for an opportunity to develop innovative cell culture media ingredients and platforms? Look no further! We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as Principal / Senior Scientist Cell Culture. This role is located onsite at our Cambridge, MA location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify unmet needs in the CHO cell culture field and translate this into ingredient innovation
- Define project scopes based on market potential, internal capabilities, technological advancements, and potential collaborations with partner companies.
- Lead and document the corresponding projects with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- Provide mentorship to scientists, trainees, and interns within a matrix organizational structure.
- Active participation in the Cambridge innovation ecosystem, ensuring strong connection to local key opinion leaders.
- Development and alignment of business cases for projects
- Technology screening and IP analyses, as well as support in the generation of IP.
- Assume responsibility for the seamless integration of developed business ventures into Evonik's existing business lines or their continuation within Creavis, in accordance with established business plans.
