RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and guidance to Chemical Operators in the operation of manufacturing process equipment.
- Ensures a safe and healthy work environment through vigilant enforcement of all applicable laws and regulation, including Evonik EHSQ and other policies.
- Responsible for oversight of productivity on shift to achieve production targets.
- Communicate with Maintenance as needed to ensure necessary repairs are scheduled and completed on a timely basis.
- Create work requests in SAP, communicates and coordinates maintenance priorities and activities consistent with available resources and production schedule.
- Communicate appropriate information to the Production Manager and Engineers, review SAP production transaction and ensure proper entries have been made.
- Ensures appropriate supplies of PPE, Raw Materials and process supplies are available for production, so that material can be manufactured as scheduled.
- Understand production OEE for each area and equipment, coach team to ensure these targets are met in a safe manner with good quality products being produced.
- Organizing shift schedules for team members. Monitoring attendance, tardiness and time off.
