The Engineering Resource is responsible for developing, designing, and making improvement proposals.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility will be coordinating all planned maintenance shutdowns for Crosslinkers, Mobile. This involves, but is not limited to, development of common shutdown Gantt charts, detailing critical crafts and tasks for each shutdown job; Leading regular shutdown meetings, involving all necessary parties; initiating job walkdowns with necessary crafts and plant production in conjunction with and development of shutdown planning. Expertise with SAP will be required for pulling all shutdown work orders into each planned outage.
• Regular review of previous internal/external equipment inspections with Site Reliability in conjunction with and development of shutdown planning, to ensure prior open recommendations have a plan to be addressed and review of inspection frequencies to identify opportunities for extensions.
• Secondary responsibly will be to cross train with the area Engineering Team Leader and/or the area Assistant Engineer in critical Technical Team services such as MOC management, maintenance notification/work order gatekeeping and P&ID draft updating management.
• Asset management and optimization through planning and execution of continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Regularly maintains status of all equipment and assets with overdue inspections concerning preventative maintenance schedules and ensures that MOCs are issued for any critical equipment or assets with overdue inspections.
  
  

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in industrial/chemical plant operation strongly preferred.
• SAP experience required.
• MS Office skills required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills required.
• A track record in driving continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership in EH&S, including both personnel and process safety.
• High school education or higher required.
