Responsibilities
- Participate in the EMS to ensure meeting all regulatory compliance and pollution prevention.
- Perform in-process analytical testing as assigned, analyze in-process test results, and apply appropriate corrective actions.
- Perform routine running and preventive maintenance work as assigned.
- Maintain all necessary records, and provide a detailed summary of the shift in logbooks, including but not limited to safety, quality, mechanical problems/repairs, and process changes.
- Review with oncoming shift operator a detailed summary of the shift including but not limited to safety, quality, mechanical problems/repairs, and process changes.
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in assigned work area, including process testing labs, and elsewhere as assigned.
- Has qualified to operate eight (8) of the process units.
- Be trained and qualified in all functions of the Operator III classification.
- Perform all other work as assigned by supervision.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Good time management skills.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Safety oriented.
