Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical care and condition of the production unit in cooperation with the Plant Superintendent. Assures the defined technical availability of the production plant according to the production requirements, with continuous technical improvements, and in conformance to changing requirements in respond to economics, safety and care for the environment.
• Responsible for planning , managing and organizing the engineering and technical support to the production plant. This support includes maintenance activities, technical changes/improvements, project management and technical documentation. Is business oriented in their work, shows a high level of cost awareness and cost responsibility, and knows the accounting principles.
• Provides Evonik Corporation with seasoned process, maintenance and project expertise which combines experience in process engineering with in-depth knowledge of the plant requirements. Uses mature engineering judgment, creativity and foresight to initiate studies, projects and new developments and to anticipate and solve unprecedented problems with a focus on long term technical solutions.
• Provides plant specific technical expertise on the application of new process developments, on equipment innovations and on state-of-the-art maintenance and project techniques, ensuring regulatory compliance of technical documentation and maintenance practices
  
  

Requirements

• An Engineering degree with 3-8 years of extensive progressive process and plant experience is preferred
• Providse seasoned engineering support, utilizing the latest technology, for one or more processes.
• Theoretical technical knowledge combined with analytical thinking as well as practical experience to solve problems in process, in maintenance, and in technical work.
