Project Support Manager - Sample Management - Site based, Branford, CT

Leveraging these skills and expertise the Company intends to deliver superior science-driven discovery alliances with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
We are looking for a self-motivated candidate to join the Evotec Sample Management team as a Project Support Manager at the Branford, CT site. The purpose of this position is to manage client interactions and advocate for the client internally to ensure deliverables are met. As part of the Sample Management project management team, the qualified individual will participate in the development of a growing operation. The position requires a highly motivated individual with attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high demand environment.
Note: This role could be flexible to be a hybrid role, subject to business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assume primary responsibility for the data entry and to tracking sheets used to record work performed and generation of monthly client invoices with input from multiple stakeholders.
  • Accomplish project goals and objectives on time while meeting revenue, margin and budget targets.
  • Keeps project team informed of the status of client accounts, issues, plans and meetings and maintains client contact commensurate with needs; arranges policy meetings with clients at suitable intervals.
  • Produce e-mails, letters, presentations, spreadsheets, agendas and minutes when necessary.
  • Work with clients, operations, IT and Informatics/software development to support client work.
  • Communicate client requests with operations team, IT and Informatics/software developers to support client work.
  • Plan and report project progress in meetings and review and submit written reports to customers and management.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with Operations group to develop and implement improvements to CM planning, activities, and deliverables.
  • Other duties as assigned may be required.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated record of achievement in project management/ account management with experience in life sciences, drug discovery or related field preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to thrive both independently and in team settings.
  • Training and experience managing external contracts and customers.
  • Collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively across functions, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a track record of efficient time management with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of accuracy, attention to detail, and thoroughness in work output.
Education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life science field preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience working in life sciences, drug discovery or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years client facing project management in life sciences or related field.
  • Optional: experience with Titian Mosaic or other Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, contract management, and industry-specific products or services.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service practices, client retention strategies, and business development techniques.
  • Skilled in analyzing client needs and translating them into actionable business solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of client relationship management principles, account lifecycle processes, and sales strategies.
