Cash Room Supervisor

Cash Room Supervisor Position Summary: A professional who is detail oriented and can work in a collaborative environment to ensure the accuracy and security of large amounts of cash. The cash room supervisor will also be responsible for preparing reports and monitoring the vault. Financial experience is beneficial.

Basic duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Oversee cash room operations on event nights.
• Ensure company cash room procedures are followed.
• Review processes and make recommendations to management staff for improvements and adjustments to procedures to ensure proper cash management and separation of duties in accounting practices.
• Work with Personnel Manager in scheduling and assigning duties to cash room personnel.
• Ensure all cash room personnel are properly trained in cash room policies and procedures.
• Review bartender shift review for accuracy to the amount of cash.
• Prepare and maintain the Excel spreadsheet for the show.
• Assist in verifying and preparing cash deposits.
• Bundle currency accurately, according to instructions.
• Reconcile all cash drawers and safe counts for deposit.
• Utilize the counting machine and cash management supplies for accuracy.
• Oversee completion of special projects as assigned by management staff.
• Ensure staff are completing as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Perform in a loud, fast paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Multitask and ensure staff are completing duties as assigned.
• MUST be 21 years of age or older

Available Shifts:

• Start times vary based on the needs of the event, but usually in the afternoon and/or evenings.
• The duration of shifts varies upon the needs of the event, approximately 3 to 15 hours.

Pay:

• Cash Room Supervisor starting at $18.00/hour
