Job Description: Computer Technician

Location: Frederick, MD

Job Summary:

The Technician will be responsible for testing, basic repairs, and reporting of all IT equipment we process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Basic testing of PC's, laptops, printers, monitors, servers, network equipment and any other equipment that needs to be tested.
• Scanning in and recording all equipment into an Excel Spreadsheet with all specifications and notes on functionality of the equipment.
• Responsible for Data Security and Destruction
• Sorting any items to be recycled and placed in the proper locations.
• Organizing and storing equipment onto pallets and labelling for inventory.
• Keeping area clean and neat at all times.
• Moving pallets to keep inventory organized.
• Preparing orders for sales by counting items sold, wrapping on pallets, and labelling for sale.
• Other duties as required in a flexible, fast paced environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a computer technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor
• Good PC skills, especially MS Excel
