Job Description:
Peppermint Preschool is seeking a caring Floater Teacher for our preschool facility. Our program follows a research-based curriculum aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards and fosters a structured yet nurturing environment for early childhood education. We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment while supporting social-emotional development.
Responsibilities:
· Substitute as Lead Teacher or Assistant Teacher across all age groups as needed.
· Support classroom structure and behavior management.
· Assist with curriculum delivery and transitions between activities.
· Collaborate with staff to ensure consistent classroom quality.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting.
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
