Job Description
As a Food Server, you will be the face of our restaurant, ensuring every guest receives top-notch service in a friendly and efficient manner. Your role will involve taking orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly.
- Relay orders to kitchen staff and ensure food is prepared to specifications.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide recommendations on menu items, including wine pairings and specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables.
- Monitor and respond to guest needs during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with a positive attitude.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a smooth operation.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Previous experience in a food service role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
