Salary : $16-$19 per hour

Ewald Consulting, a leading Association Management Company is looking for a driven, organized Marketing and Communication Assistant to assist our state, national, and international clients produce and execute successful web content for our clients. We are looking for difference makers who will help Ewald Consulting fulfill on its mission : Serving at the intersection of business, government and society to improve industries and professions.

The Marketing and Communication Assistant position works on our client association's communication strategies, content development, and branding and marketing by planning, assisting in producing and distributing electronic and print communication materials. The ideal person will have strong verbal and written skills, demonstrate attention to details, and have software knowledge and / or the ability to learn new programs quickly. The right candidate will also have the ability to balance multiple projects and follow instructions.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in the production of electronic and printed communications for emails and newsletters for client associations
• Assist in the production of electronic and printed membership brochures / applications, marketing / promotional materials, and other print and electronic communication pieces
• Assist with the setup of mobile apps using a content management system
• Assist with website edits and maintenance within a content management system
• Assist with event registration builds and edits within a content management system

Required Qualifications and Education

Some college level education in communication, web design, graphic design, or related program, or equivalent experience in a related field

Good organizational and project management skills

Strong customer service and positive attitude

Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with a diverse client base

Commitment of 15-20 hours per week

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

Knowledge of content management systems, HTML, Microsoft Word, Adobe Illustrator, and other software platforms

Ability to seek out process issues and propose new ways of doing work

Desire to work in an environment with great variety on a daily basis

A team player mentality
