Position Overview

The prime responsibility of the Laser Hair Removal Specialist to provide the highest quality laser hair removal services while representing the European Wax Center in a professional and consistent manner. As a licensed skin care specialist, a Laser Hair Removal Specialist is responsible for educating guests on proper skin care in conjunction with the Company’s exclusive products and processes.

Essential Functions

• Understand, believe in, and represent EWC Growth and European Wax Centers Mission, Vision, and Values
• Develop a thorough understanding of European Wax Center services and products
• Perform all laser hair removal treatments within our established treatment protocols and procedures
• Educate patients on laser hair removal process and pre/post treatment care recommendations
• Work autonomously with guests to achieve their laser hair removal goals
• Collaborate with the team to achieve company goals
• Provide a friendly and comfortable environment by delivering world class service
• Record clear and accurate documentation
• Ensure a professional clean work environment; to include prepping the treatment room in between patients
• Clean and perform minor maintenance on the laser to ensure proper functionality
• Always maintain a professional appearance as defined in the EWC Growth Associate Handbook

Requirements

• Esthetician License and/or Electrolysis License (as required by state and local requirements)
• 1-3 years of experience
• Experience with Candela preferred
• Previous sales experience is preferred
• Willing to work flexible days and hours
• Be able to stand for up to 9 hours a day
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Be able to operate a laser and computer/office machinery (required use of hands, fingers, arms)

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The associate must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
