Position Description : The diesel mechanic job description includes the following duties :

Performing diagnostic tests on diesel vehicles to find faults.

Analyzing diagnostic test results.

Repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking, or lighting system components.

Maintaining and repairing diesel engines in heavy-duty equipment.

Diagnosing mechanical issues.

Performing regular maintenance.

Fixing necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.

Using various tools and equipment, such as hand tools, power tools, and computerized diagnostic machines.

Performing welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment.

Preparing work orders and ordering parts.This is not a training program. Must have at least one year of experience. $30.00 - $40.00 Hourly
