At EwiCharge Inc., we are committed to expanding access to clean, modern electric power worldwide, especially for those who currently lack the ability to charge their electric vehicles (EVs) quickly. As a dynamic, fast-growing product development company, we sell our chargers across the US, Europe, and Asia. We are actively expanding our range of innovative EV chargers, V2G power modules, and energy storage systems, and we are seeking curious, creative individuals to join our team.
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in the end-to-end process of designing, manufacturing, and testing DC power modules. You'll collaborate on hardware design, including circuit development, and play an integral part in executing test protocols for all of EwiCharge's product lines, producing detailed reports based on your findings. Your primary objective will be to identify issues and troubleshoot problems, helping us rapidly refine our designs to ensure they are more robust and efficient.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing DC power module hardware, including circuit design and PCB layout.
- Perform hardware testing and troubleshooting to ensure the product meets quality and reliability standards.
- Provide feedback to the R&D team and contribute to iterative design improvements.
- Set up and modify testing equipment, create troubleshooting documentation, and maintain a database of test results and reports.
- Collect and analyze sensor data to support product development efforts.
- Conduct audits of circuits for warranty purposes and lead root cause analysis to resolve issues.
- Help create and maintain hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
- Source and research components as needed for design and development.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Solid foundation in electronics and experience with electronics testing, including proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Strong understanding of circuit design, PCB layout, and hardware testing principles.
- Familiarity with CAD software for circuit design and PCB layout.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, time-management, and planning skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly express ideas.
- Experience with surface mount soldering, reading schematics, and a solid understanding of electronic components and datasheets is a plus.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
