Summary

A lot attendant provides customer service for the intake and / or release of towed vehicles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist and accompany customers to their vehicle for any personal belongings while providing excellent customer service.
  • Assists customers in releasing vehicles.
  • Inform clerks if vehicles are not where the paperwork indicates so the information is updated in our system.
  • Make sure insurance, E&E, and / or Stock Vehicles have been processed and numbered.
  • Make sure all registrations, releases of vehicles, lot visits, and setouts are completed.
  • Mild clean-up of the property and basic facility maintenance.

Education and / or Experience

High school diploma or GED.

Language Skills

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from manager(s) / Supervisors, clients, customers, and the general public. Bilingual is a plus, but not required.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to accurately use a calculator.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
