Professional Mover Memphis and Nashville
Position Summary
The professional Mover packs and moves individuals’ household or commercial goods. This position
includes wrapping of household goods to protect them from damage during loading, shipping, and unloading the truck to customer location or to be stored in the warehouse. Moves may range from single items to an entire home or office and can often involve stairways.
Essential Job Functions
Transport household goods, materials, and/or commercial equipment from origin to destination
Pack and crate valuables for safe transport (i.e., artwork, antiques, dishes, other fragile and hard to move items)
Wrap furniture and equipment appropriately
Lift, move, and place heavy items by hand or with assistance of material handling equipment (i.e., hand truck or dolly)
Ability to comprehend and complete all the necessary forms and garner the required signatures during, before, or after each move as instructed.
Experience
Prior household goods moving experience recommended
