ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Greets clients and visitors, obtain name and nature of business and introduce them to the appropriate member
- Answers questions about dealership and provides callers with address, directions, and other information
- Takes messages or deliver calls to voicemail when the appropriate member is unavailable
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Monitors paper flow to ensure that all documents are accounted for, filled out completely and legibly, and filed or distributed to the appropriate parties.
- Performs clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, typing, proofreading, and data entry
- Create and monitor fleet packets
- Maintains professional appearance
- Greets all clients in a friendly and timely manner
- Answers phones in a friendly and timely manner within 3 rings
- Arrange showroom displays
- Inspects vehicles daily for cleanliness and damage
- Starts all cars daily, reporting problems to the department manager
- Pulls pipeline/order status delivery report
- Forwards purchase orders to vendors, posting to stock cards
- Prepares and forwards "dealer trade" sales paperwork to accounting
- Assists with Marketing events
- Delivers cars to the appropriate service department as needed
- Maintains fleet vehicles in a clean, organized, manner
- Details inventory for display and for delivery to clients
- Locates and accounts for inventory
- Secures vehicles and company property daily
- Transports and delivers vehicles
- Maintains gas, battery charge, tire inflation, labeling, license plate frames, and ad plates,
- Assists New/Pre-Owned Sales Manager and members as instructed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma; and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks
- Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook)
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILLITIES:
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
