Work alongside the Engineers and Level II Technicians to help maintain all equipment related to Broadcasting.
What You Will Do
- Work with Broadcast Engineers and Technicians to maintain and repair broadcast related systems, and equipment.
- Set-up and monitor Live Events with minimal supervision.
- Adhere to required safety and technical standards
- Minimum of (2) two years’ experience in broadcast television or related field or minimum (1) one year as a Broadcast Technician Trainee.
- Possess fundamental computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Your dominant soft skills include strong analytical, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Physically able to perform the duties (ability to lift 50 lbs. or more)
- Have strong eyesight and hearing with no color blindness issues.
- Able to work outside of normal business hours, including morning, nights and weekends.
- Operational knowledge of production related equipment (i.e. routers, intercoms, and patch panels).
- Knowledge of the Catholic faith and affinity for EWTN’s mission.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
