As an Associate Project Manager at Exact Billing Solutions, you will play a crucial role in overseeing projects from conception to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, operations, and external partners, to deliver projects. This role requires expertise in project management methodologies and a deep understanding of healthcare billing processes.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate the operation of departments to confirm that assigned projects are completed according to specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Take proactive steps to minimize delays in delivery.
- Regularly communicate with customers/clients to arrange meetings, confirm project schedules, and discuss any project problems, both domestic and international.
- Ensure that customers and/or clients are regularly informed of the status of the project.
- Regularly communicate with management about the project status and any problems or potential problems.
- Forecast potential schedule delays and develop alternate plans.
- Participate in process mapping and improvement initiatives across the organization; work with colleagues to standardize and improve the customer experience.
- Engage team members in knowledge sharing and training to increase skills across the company.
- Prepare clear handoffs for coverage and workload sharing.
Education/Experience and Other Requirements
- High-school diploma.
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or similar certification.
- Experience with project management processes and methodologies, including Agile/Lean principles.
- 3 years of RCM-related experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, reimbursement practices, and revenue cycle management principles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects in a healthcare billing or financial environment.
- Proficiency in billing software and project management tools.
- Proficient with Smartsheet or other project-related software.
- Ability to maintain clean background/drug screenings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- High emotional intelligence with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
