Position Overview
The Associate Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, analyzing, and monitoring assigned products through the complete planning cycle. The Associate Planner will also be responsible for calculating demand requirements based on forecast inputs for assigned products, coordinating with manufacturing to generate build schedules/orders, procurement on buy plans, and other impacted teams. Key Areas of accountability include demand and scheduling, inventory analysis/recommendations, best practices and continuous improvement of responsible areas.
Essential Duties

$50,000.00 - $81,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to be considered for company stock at hire and on an annual basis.

Position Overview
The Associate Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, analyzing, and monitoring assigned products through the complete planning cycle. Essential Duties
include but are not limited to the following:
- Support the generation of S&OP Supply Plan that satisfies customer demand and optimum inventory levels.
- Maintain and build relationships with business partners to drive accuracy and transparency in planning.
- Analyze inventory/data for accuracy, identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
- Manage plan as assigned products lifecycles change. Work with cross functional teams to take needed action in updating plan and data to support lifecycle changes.
- For products assigned with external demands ensure understanding and accuracy of those demands through the planning process. Monitor those demands based on forward-looking forecasts and historical demand patterns.
- Ensures maintenance of material master data related to Planning and Scheduling to ensure proper settings and product supply. Includes safety stocks, lead times, reorder points, site-specific attributes.
- Schedule material demands, generate purchase requisitions ensuring raw material availability.
- Work closely with Purchasing to expedite, de-expedite purchase orders as required to support production schedule and inventory targets.
- Contribute to the design and development of ongoing productivity metrics, tools, dashboard to drive continuous Supply Chain improvement.
- Communicate issues and provides timely solutions for product availability issues. Conducts investigations as needed to determine the root cause.

- Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
- 1 years of related work experience in a biotech or medical device field, or a field related to the essential duties of this role.
- Strong knowledge of SAP, or with equivalent ERP system.
- Proficient computer skills to include Internet navigation, Email usage, and word processing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- APICS CPIM certification.
- Experience working in HIPPA/CLIA regulated environment.
