What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Exact Staff?
Our client is one of the top hotel chains in the world. They are hosting a large event with a major nearby university, and we need Bartenders to join our client on this project basis. This will be in Thousand Oaks, CA.
This is a traditional full-bar, bartending position. Your job will be to mix a variety of drinks, with or without alcohol, according to customer preferences.
Additional duties include :
- Greeting guests
- Taking drink and food orders, and mixing them to their specifications
- Practice safe pouring practices, and ensure that orders come out correctly
- Maintain bar supplies, respoke beverages and ice when needed
- Provide recommendations for specific drinks
- Ensure the bar area is clean and organized, as well as washing glassware and bar tools during the shift
- Working closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure the guest experience is seamless.
- Other duties as needed
This is an on-call position. The next event is scheduled for Saturday, December 14h We are expecting more work to occur once the event happens. In addition, we also have a catering client in Simi Valley that occasionally looks for servers as well, so in case nothing comes up, we have other opportunities.
Here are the hours for this project : Second Shift, from 4 : 00 pm to Midnight, Saturday, December 14th.
