This administrative position assists with all aspects of health center facilities, including construction, remodel / expansion, maintenance, and operational functionality. The Facilities Coordinator requires a highly organized individual in order to complete a myriad of projects. Attention to detail, various regulative environments, and deadlines are crucial for success in this position.Pay Rate : $21.00-$31.00 / HrTemp to HireMonday-Friday 8am-5pmEssential Functions : Assist with remodeling projects at existing facilities, and aspects of new facility construction, including land acquisition, architectural design, construction contracting and bidding, and overall project management.Assist with aspects of health center licensing and permitting, including obtaining licenses for new facilities, and the maintenance of existing licenses.Assists with facilities compliance of federal, state and local regulations, including licensing requirements, and environmental / hazard regulations. Ensures facility compliance with Joint Commission regulations and requirements.Active and substantial participation in committees for facility-related issues, including the development of policies and procedures relating to facility compliance with various different requirements.Responsible for monitoring the work products of the Facilities Technician and facility maintenance contractor, including but not limited to janitorial work, and seeing that the contractor meets their contractual obligations to our standards.Assist with monitoring the work products of all independent contractors hired.Assists senior management in risk management activities, generating data and reports and grant writing.Assumes other special projects and responsibilities as directed by the Supervisor of Facilities, CEO, CFO, or CAO.Facilities Coordinator is to act Safety Officer for the County of Fresno and works in tandem with the Safety Officer in Kern.Other Responsibilities : On a scheduled basis may be required to work at any satellite facility.Reasonable and predictable in person attendanceOther duties as required.Qualifications : Bachelors level training in Business Administration, Public Administration or Health Administration, or related field. Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a Bachelors degree.Knowledge of existing local, state and federal regulations over health facilities, construction, and environmental / hazardous conditions.Knowledge of contract bidding process (request for proposals, etc.) in order to expedite contractor evaluations.Strong professional and diplomatic communication skills.Ability to handle and communicate details in a timely manner.Experience in drafting and evaluating corporate documents, and contracts, including but not limited to leases.```{=html}``` - Knowledge and understanding of the mission and role of community health centers.
