What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Safety Coordinator position at Exact Staff?
Our client is a firm that specializes in tree services, specifically in trimming and cutting down trees. We are seeking a smart, bright, and eager HR Safety Coordinator to join our client’s office, located in Canoga Park, CA.
This is a traditional Human Resources role. You will be responsible for assisting the HR Manager with various duties, which include answering a busy phone system, ensuring their employees meet safety and compliance requirements, documenting everything in an Excel spreadsheet, and more.
You will also :
- Scheduling and following up with appointments and making sure they arrive on time.
- Enter the candidate’s payroll information into MS Excel and verify the information inside
- Conducting safety meetings with the associates to ensure they do their job safely.
- Verifying that everyone possesses their documentation to work in the USA
- Working with the HR Manager to keep track of records of previous clients and sending those records when needed.
- Responding to emails as needed
- Keeping track of who has completed the training.
- Updating the filing system, making sure all documents are updated, including everyone’s payroll information.
- Other data entry projects as needed
- Resolving any conflicts that come up
- Other clerical duties as needed.
We are looking for someone who is smart and can adapt to changing circumstances. This is a full-time position. Temp to hire. Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 4 : 30 pm.
