We are seeking a motivated and skilled Production Lead in the area of Arvin, CA. This candidate will be responsible for meeting daily and weekly production goals, while also meeting quality, accuracy, and safety objectives.

Pay Rate : $21.50
1st Shift 6am-2pm
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be technically compatible.
Proficient in Excel and Word.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Works well with a team environment.
Must have good attendance and excellent safety records.
Good problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to comprehend, read, write, and communicate proficiently in English and interact with all levels of the organization.
Bi-lingual English / Spanish is preferred.
Must pass pre-placement drug / alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :
Monitor 14 lines of equipment, wash line, and production area.
Delegate with different departments on production needs.
Perform daily GMP inspections. Manage employee breaks and lunch times.
Prioritize production schedule to meet deadlines.
Perform follow-up on the inspection of product quality, packaging, and finished goods.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Lead shift to meet 75% overall equipment efficiency.
Make minor adjustments or settings on all equipment.
Encourage employees to follow food and safety policies.
Correct employees when policies are broken.
Train new hires on equipment and job functions.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to continuously work with product and equipment at ground level.
Ability to occasionally move about inside the office, and in food processing facilities (sometimes through narrow passages, in wet areas, or on elevated platforms).
Ability to inspect equipment and product. Must be able to work in different temperatures (working temperatures as hot as 100° to 110° F and as cold as -20° F to 32° F).
Must be able to move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
