Are you a safety-conscious professional ready to make an impact? We’re hiring a skilled and responsible Safety Coordinator to join a well-known agricultural company in Arvin, CA. In this role, you’ll lead and implement safety programs to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Shift Available :
1st Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (Must be available for overtime as needed)
Pay Rate : $24.00-$28.00 / hour
Position Type : Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities :
Act as a liaison with Environmental Health and Safety consultants.
Conduct or arrange educational training sessions on workplace hazards for employees.
Perform safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and projects to identify and address unsafe conditions.
Recommend and implement corrective actions for identified hazards or deficiencies.
Oversee accident / injury investigations and maintain related records.
Serve as the go-to resource for safety-related matters, including inspections, education, training, and technical consultations.
Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and monitoring data.
Facilitate new employee orientation to introduce safety programs and procedures.
