Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Lead to join our client's team in Carpenteria, CA.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing inventory, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team to conduct cycle counts of inventory and transfer items to various departments
- Monitor work order progress and assign tasks to associates
- Report inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Assist production with part requests and ensure parts are ready for use
- Verify incoming orders and ensure the correct items are available
- Contribute to the development of SOPs and document Standard Work Orders
- Oversee inventory transactions and material replenishments
- Report any inappropriate conduct
- Train new warehouse candidates on various functions
- Assist warehouse team members with all duties
